Sinagot ni Kris Aquino ang issue tungkol sa pagbibigay ng sustento ng mga tatay ng dalawa niyang anak – si Phillip Salvador kay Joshua at si James Yap kay Bimby. Ayon kay Kris matagal nang walang tinatanggap na financial support ang kanyang mga anak mula sa kanilang mga ama. “To clarify, we don’t communicate & he has no active role in Kuya Josh’s life,” ang sagot ni Kris sa mga follower niya sa social media na ang tinutukoy nga ay si Ipe. “Sorry to disillusion you, but we also don’t receive financial support from Bimb’s dad,” ang sagot naman ng TV host sa nagtanong about James Yap. Dugtong pa ni Kris, “Together with my siblings, and w/ much gratitude to my Mom, we all took on the responsibility of raising Kuya, and I have always been open about his having special needs… “I have been solely financially responsible for Kuya’s upbringing for most of his life, let me EMPHASIZE I’m not calling anybody out – God truly blessed me w/ the financial capacity to care for my panganay.”
