GMA muling bumuwelta laban sa SkyCable: May basehan ang reklamo

Tila hindi nagustuhan ng GMA 7 ang naging tugon ng Skycable na malisyoso at walang basehan ang reklamo ng Kapuso network sa National Telecommunications Commission tungkol sa pagkasira ng signal ng ilang subscribers kapag umeere na ang Kalyeserye ng Eat Bulaga na pinagbibidahan nina Alden Richards at Maine Mendoza o Yaya Dub.

Ayon sa ikalawang official statement ng GMA ang reklamong inihain ng network sa NTC ay mismong mga hinaing ng SkyCable suscribers, tungkol sa diumano’y kawalan ng channel signal ng GMA mula July 19 hanggang August 21.

Narito ang kabuuan ng bagong pahayag ng GMA hinggil sa naging sagot ng SkyCable sa kanilang reklamo: “SkyCable issued a press statement calling the complaint, which GMA Network filed with the NTC regarding the poor cable signal during the airing of the noontime show Eat Bulaga, particularly during the airing of its ’Aldub kalye-serye segment’, as malicious and without basis.

“In reply, GMA Network wishes to point out that: 1. GMA’s complaint with the NTC is based on the numerous complaints GMA has received from its viewers. “2.

Instead of merely saying that GMA’s complaint is malicious and without basis, SkyCable would do well to refute the specific complaints of GMA’s viewers submitted to the NTC, where the case is now pending.”

Sa unang sagot ng SkyCable sa nasabing reklamo, “isolated” case lang ang “service interruptions” na nararanasan ng kanilang subscribers.

Ayon sa mga viewers ng Eat Bulaga baka raw may nananabotahe sa noontime show dahil nga napakalakas nito ngayon sa mga manonood, lalo na kapag simula na ang kalyeserye ng AlDub.

GMA nagsampa ng reklamo sa NTC laban sa Skycable

SUMAGOT na ang pamunuan ng SkyCable hinggil sa reklamo ng GMA Network tungkol sa pagkasira ng signal sa ilang bahagi ng bansa, partikular na raw kapag umeere ang kalyeserye ng Eat Bulaga.

Ang hinala ng ilang manonood, tila sinasabotahe raw ang Eat Bulaga dahil sa lakas ng hatak sa viewers ng tambalan nina Alden Richards at Yaya Dub. Ilang linggo na rin daw kasing tinatalo ng Eat Bulaga ang It’s Showtime na napapanood sa ABS-CBN na sister company ng SkyCable.

Naglabas pa nga ng ilang mensahe ang GMA mula sa ilang SkyCable subscribers na nagpapatunay na nawawala ang signal nila kapag umeere na ang Eat Bulaga, partikular na kapag magsisimula na ang kalyeserye ng AlDub.

Narito ang official statement ng SkyCable tungkol sa isyu:

“SKY Cable Corporation, the country’s leading source of cable TV home entertainment, has been providing top-of-the-line services to our subscribers for the past 25 years. It has always been our primary aim to be at par with global standards and innovations in bringing world-class entertainment to every Filipino home.

“The complaint of GMA 7 with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) last August 25, 2015, regarding shortchanging of our SkyCable subscribers via irresponsible acts, is a malicious accusation and is without basis.

“If there were service interruptions that inconvenienced some of our subscribers, these were isolated and would have affected other channels, not only GMA 7.

“SKY is willing to cooperate with the NTC for any investigation they may wish to do regarding these incidents.

“To all our valued customers and stakeholders, we commit to take all necessary measures to give you the best service you deserve and continue working round-the-clock to minimize and immediately resolve any service interruptions in the future.”

Geoff Eigenmann (1985 - )

Geoff Eigenmann (born March 23, 1985) is a Filipino actor notable for his performances in television; he is a member of the Eigenmann showbiz clan. He started out with GMA Network as part of a joint drama series with TAPE Productions and later was part of ABS-CBN's Star Magic and starred in their shows. After his contract has expired, he moved back to GMA-7 and was chosen by GMA Network to replace JC De Vera^[1] in a role for the late-night drama anthology, SRO Cinema Serye first known as Obra).

Biography

He was born Geoffrey Michael Alatiit Eigenmann on March 23, 1985, a third generation member of the Mesa-Gil clan of actors. His grandparents are music icon Eddie Mesa and actress Rosemarie Gil. He is son of award-winning Filipino actors Michael de Mesa and Gina Alajar. He has two siblings who are actors: older brother Ryan Eigenmann and younger brother AJ Eigenmann. Geoff is nephew of Filipino actors Mark Gil and Cherie Gil and cousin of actorsGabby Eigenmann and Sid Lucero (Tim Eigenmann), Andrea "Andi" Eigenmann, and Maxene Eigenmann

Geoff's 1st TV appearance was a kid-teen oriented comedy gag show, Ang TV on ABS-CBN 2 in

92, that was his first career in acting.

Geoff transferred to GMA 7 and he hosted SOP Rules from 2008 to 2010 and a former mainstay host Party Pilipinas on GMA 7 from 2010 to 2013.

Movie career[edit]

Geoff was a contract star of Star Cinema. His first movie was Bcoz Of U with his then-girlfriend Heart Evangelista. His sophomore movie was the comedy First Day High, based on a deoderant commercial for Rexona with his Kapamilyastars Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Jason Abalos, Carla Humpries and Maja Salvador.

His third movie and his first indie film was Anak Ni Brocka with the late hip hop artist Francis Magalona in 2005. His fourth movie was For The First Time with fellow Kapuso star Richard Gutierrez and Kapamilya Star KC Concepcion. His last movie for Star Cinema was the horror Villa Estrella with Maja Salvador, Shaina Magdayao and John Estrada.

He's now a contract star with GMA Films, his fifth movie and first movie for GMA Films was Ang Panday with fellow Kapuso stars Sen. Bong Revilla, Buboy Villar and Rhian Ramos. A co-production with Imus Productions, Ang Pandaywas part of the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival where the movie won as "1st Place Best Festival Picture". This was Geoff's sixth movie.

TV career[edit]

Eigenman went back in his home network GMA Network via SRO Cinemaserye in June 2008.^[2]

The SRO Cinemaserye: Ganti Ng Puso ended in 2009 and Geoff was supposed to appear again via Sine Novela:Kung Aagawin Mo Man Ang Lahat Sa Akin but he was replaced by JC Tiuseco to work with Maxene Magalona.

Recently in 2009, he's playing the role of Fernando Jose, leading man to Carla Abellana, in the Filipino version ofRosalinda.

A recent^[when?] project will be a romantic-comedy episode of SRO Cinemaserye with his on-screen sweetheart Carla Abellana. They will work for the second time with their parents, Rey "PJ" Abellana and Gina Alajar.

Geoff was part of a reality show with his partner Carla Abellana for their newest GMA Christmas reality show, Puso Ng Pasko: Artista Challenge. Geoff's former love and now long-time friend Heart Evangelista was paired with newcomerErvic Vijandre. This was Geoff and Carla's fifth time together.

Geoff is also a part of Sine Novela Presents: Basahang Ginto with his partner, Carla Abellana, it was formerly aired on GMA.

In 2011, Geoff was also part of a fantasy comedy together again with his partner, Carla Abellana for their team up again in Magic Palayok. This was their 4th time to work since their drama mini series, Basahang Ginto a Sine Novela show on GMA.

In 2012, Geoff will be paired with his former love team Heart Evangelista in a defunct GMA Network drama, Legacy. This will be their reunion after working individually for a long time. Also the same year, Geoff has also a part of former drama series on daytime, Kasalanan Bang Ibigin Ka' with his co-stars Jackie Rice, Jennica Garcia and his real life father Michael De Mesa.
