GMA muling bumuwelta laban sa SkyCable: May basehan ang reklamo

Tila hindi nagustuhan ng GMA 7 ang naging tugon ng Skycable na malisyoso at walang basehan ang reklamo ng Kapuso network sa National Telecommunications Commission tungkol sa pagkasira ng signal ng ilang subscribers kapag umeere na ang Kalyeserye ng Eat Bulaga na pinagbibidahan nina Alden Richards at Maine Mendoza o Yaya Dub.

Ayon sa ikalawang official statement ng GMA ang reklamong inihain ng network sa NTC ay mismong mga hinaing ng SkyCable suscribers, tungkol sa diumano’y kawalan ng channel signal ng GMA mula July 19 hanggang August 21.

Narito ang kabuuan ng bagong pahayag ng GMA hinggil sa naging sagot ng SkyCable sa kanilang reklamo: “SkyCable issued a press statement calling the complaint, which GMA Network filed with the NTC regarding the poor cable signal during the airing of the noontime show Eat Bulaga, particularly during the airing of its ’Aldub kalye-serye segment’, as malicious and without basis.

“In reply, GMA Network wishes to point out that: 1. GMA’s complaint with the NTC is based on the numerous complaints GMA has received from its viewers. “2.

Instead of merely saying that GMA’s complaint is malicious and without basis, SkyCable would do well to refute the specific complaints of GMA’s viewers submitted to the NTC, where the case is now pending.”

Sa unang sagot ng SkyCable sa nasabing reklamo, “isolated” case lang ang “service interruptions” na nararanasan ng kanilang subscribers.

Ayon sa mga viewers ng Eat Bulaga baka raw may nananabotahe sa noontime show dahil nga napakalakas nito ngayon sa mga manonood, lalo na kapag simula na ang kalyeserye ng AlDub.

GMA nagsampa ng reklamo sa NTC laban sa Skycable

SUMAGOT na ang pamunuan ng SkyCable hinggil sa reklamo ng GMA Network tungkol sa pagkasira ng signal sa ilang bahagi ng bansa, partikular na raw kapag umeere ang kalyeserye ng Eat Bulaga.

Ang hinala ng ilang manonood, tila sinasabotahe raw ang Eat Bulaga dahil sa lakas ng hatak sa viewers ng tambalan nina Alden Richards at Yaya Dub. Ilang linggo na rin daw kasing tinatalo ng Eat Bulaga ang It’s Showtime na napapanood sa ABS-CBN na sister company ng SkyCable.

Naglabas pa nga ng ilang mensahe ang GMA mula sa ilang SkyCable subscribers na nagpapatunay na nawawala ang signal nila kapag umeere na ang Eat Bulaga, partikular na kapag magsisimula na ang kalyeserye ng AlDub.

Narito ang official statement ng SkyCable tungkol sa isyu:

“SKY Cable Corporation, the country’s leading source of cable TV home entertainment, has been providing top-of-the-line services to our subscribers for the past 25 years. It has always been our primary aim to be at par with global standards and innovations in bringing world-class entertainment to every Filipino home.

“The complaint of GMA 7 with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) last August 25, 2015, regarding shortchanging of our SkyCable subscribers via irresponsible acts, is a malicious accusation and is without basis.

“If there were service interruptions that inconvenienced some of our subscribers, these were isolated and would have affected other channels, not only GMA 7.

“SKY is willing to cooperate with the NTC for any investigation they may wish to do regarding these incidents.

“To all our valued customers and stakeholders, we commit to take all necessary measures to give you the best service you deserve and continue working round-the-clock to minimize and immediately resolve any service interruptions in the future.”
