Roel Cortez,
who rose to fame with songs such as “Napakasakit Kuya Eddie,” and “Baleleng” in the '80s, died on Wednesday, April 1 after suffering from colon cancer.According to a post from the Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho, Roel died at 9:30 pm. His remains lie at the Ever Funeral Homes in Meycauayan, Bulacan. He will be laid to rest on April 9.
