Alden said he has been single since entering showbiz 2011, so it was surprise when singer Rita de Guzman revealed she had a brief romance with the actor while they worked on the 2013 soap opera “Mundo Mo’y Akin.” In a 2014 interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal, Rita (who now goes by the name of Rita Daniela) claimed she had a “mutual understanding” with the “Mundo Mo’y Akin” lead make star. Alden, however, denied this, saying he merely treats girls he worked with as “special.”
